Dolly Parton is a revered icon in American pop culture. Her impact on the music industry and entertainment scene, in general, has inspired a lot of country music singers and crossover artists to pursue their respective careers.

While her voice is her most distinctive feature, Parton is also recognized for her timeless beauty, which she admittedly said was enhanced through cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.

Dolly Parton Plastic Surgery

Speaking to Saga Magazine, Dolly Parton talked about the many cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery sessions she had throughout her life.

"If something is bagging, sagging or dragging, I'll tuck it, suck it or pluck it," she proudly admitted.

But while she was quick to resort to enhancements and alterations, Parton confessed to regretting some of it.

"Every now and then you'll get a hematoma, or sometimes with fillers and Botox you can get too much and have to wait till the swelling goes down to look normal again," she told the publication.

Apparently, Parton had to endure a lot more waiting - she had to wait to get a procedure after two weeks or a month.

Why Did Dolly Parton Have Cosmetic Surgery?

In the past, Parton revealed to Saga Magazine that she turned to plastic surgery because she "lost a lot of confidence" from gaining weight.

"Any time you don't look good, you don't feel as good about yourself. So, I finally said, 'Get off your fat ass and do something about it!'" she recalled.

Which Cosmetic Procedures Did Dolly Parton Have?

In an interview with Howard Stern, Dolly Parton revealed that she had to tone down her cosmetic procedures once in a while.

"I try to do just little bits at a time - I don't do like really big stuff. I do fillers, Botox, Juvéderm," she told the show.

At 77, Parton is becoming more "careful" when it comes to getting procedures.

"You've just got to be very careful not to overdo it because you never know, anytime you go under the knife you could come out looking not good," she said at the time. "It's always a risk and every time I go in for anything I think 'Oh Lord, please let this all work out fine.'"

Parton recently wowed the public by performing at the Dallas Cowboys Halftime Show while wearing a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader uniform, highlighting her flat belly.
