Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande were pictured on an unusual outing in New York City a few days before Christmas, together with the pop singer's father, Ed Butera, and a girlfriend.

An insider close to Grande exclusively informed Page Six that she enjoyed dinner with her dad and family at their favorite Italian restaurant.

Furthermore, the insider revealed that the gang saw Slater's Broadway musical debut, "Spamalot." The insider went on to say of the two, "They love to support each other in their work."

After work, she likes to see plays whenever she gets the chance, it seems. Grande has been in the studio recording new music, as numerous reports stated.

The group appeared to be in good spirits as they got out of their black luxury SUV and headed to dinner. The 30-year-old Grande looked amazing in an all-black ensemble that featured a miniskirt, semi-sheer tights, a button-down sweater with fur-lined sleeves, and a matching bucket hat.

She accessorized with a stunning crystal earrings and a black pocketbook, wearing a long black cloak over her arms. Rather than the platinum blond she's been flaunting to film "Wicked," when she met Slater, her hair seemed to be the color of honey.

She also used red lipstick to provide a pop of color. Slater dressed more comfortably, complementing his girlfriend's all-black outfit with a Nike sports legging and a North Face zip-up.

The couple, who first told Page Six about their romance in July, was recently spotted in the same vicinity when Grande attended Slater's Broadway opening night of "Spamalot" and was confronted by ecstatic spectators.

They were also spotted packing on the PDA at a dinner date in late October in the Big Apple, only a few weeks after it was speculated that Grande and Slater moved in together.

Us Weekly reported at the time that "they're really happy and really good for each other," citing a source close to the duo. "He is loved by all of her friends."

Their relationship went public as soon as it was revealed that Grande and her now-ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, struggled to keep their marriage afloat during the pandemic because to their "different" lives. Their divorce was finalized in October.

Meanwhile, Slater, 31, filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay, in July. Reports claimed she was "completely blindsided."

When the actor gushed about what a wonderful mother Jay is to their 1-year-old kid two months before they split up, it seemed as though they were happy together.

Although the insider said in July that Grande was giving the separated couple "space" to "work things out," the pair ultimately made the decision to remain together.
