Francia Raisa, Selena Gomez Fallout: What Happened

Speaking to USA Today, Francia Raisa confirmed that she and Selena Gomez had a falling out.

"It's still crazy to me that people were invested in our friendship," she said. "I don't know why the timing happened the way it did, but I remember being in St. Tropez in June and I kept talking about her. We hadn't spoken much in six years. Especially the last year, we didn't speak at all."

In November 2022, Selena Gomez released "My Mind & Me," a documentary that talked in-depth about her struggle with mental health. In a Rolling Stone article that talked about the doc, she publicly declared that Taylor Swift is her "only friend in the industry."

"I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn't belong," she said at the time.

According to Page Six, E!News posted the quote on their Instagram page, which prompted Raisa to comment "interesting." However, moments later her comment was deleted.

This prompted social media into a frenzy - people speculating that the two seemed to have been fighting.
