Selena Gomez has not been able to catch her breath since November after she shared a statement about the conflict between Israel and Hamas on Instagram.

She recently liked and commented under Sophia Roe's statement in support of Palestine.

"Amen," Gomez wrote.

She faced another round of backlash by doing so. "She finally took her meds. OMG thank god."

"She's so fake."

"She's doing too much now," another added.

"Only doing this because of the backlash."

In November, Gomez shared her statement regarding the war: "I've been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all the horror, hate, violence, and terror that's going on in the world," she wrote in her statement shared on Instagram Story.

"[...] I'm sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can't stand by innocent people getting hurt.

"That's what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won't," she continued.

Many criticized the 'Lose You To Love Me" singer for saying that because she is one of the most followed people on Instagram and her reach is enormous.

Netizens accused her of being "too cowardly to stand [with] the oppressed," referring to the Palestinians.

Selena Gomez Remains Neutral?

To try and appease netizens and quiet down the backlash, Gomez used her makeup brand, Rare Beauty to make another statement and pledged donations to several organizations helping people in Gaza.

"We urge everyone to support humanitarian organizations working tirelessly to provide aid and relief to those in need," the Rare Beauty account wrote on Instagram.

"Rare Beauty will be making donations to the International Red Cross/Red Cresent Societies, Magen David Adom, & Palestinian Red Crescent Society who are providing urgent care on the ground."

Many noted that Magen David Adom is an Israeli-run organization, which infuriated netizens even further.

Selena Gomez Uses Taylor Swift For PR?

After another round of backlash, Gomez was seen hanging out with her longtime bestie Taylor Swift.

The pair went on several girl nights together, along with other celebrity friends, like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, and more.

According to reports, the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer was accused of using Swift as a PR stunt, to "clean her image."
