Neil Diamond's first record with Capitol Records is set to arrive next month, according to Radio.com Dubbed Melody Road, the singer's label debut will drop October 21.
Spanning 12 tracks, Melody Road was produced by Jacknife Lee and Don Was and is the first studio release of original material since 2008's Home After Dark and his first record since 2010's cover album Dreams.
"It takes tremendous vision, focus and determination -- combined with a mega-dose of God-given talent, charisma and soul -- to create music that becomes indelibly ingrained in the fabric of our culture," co-producer Was said in a statement. "For decade after decade, Neil's songs have been such a major part of our lives. Making this record with him has served as a profound reminder of what a powerful and amazing artist he truly is."
