Ed Sheeran is finally an Emmy Winning musician as he recently bagged an Emmy Award for his contribution to "Ted Lasso."

Ed Sheeran emerged victorious at the 2023 Creative Emmy Awards as he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics for "A Beautiful Game" for "Ted Lasso."
Sheeran won against "Marriage Is a Dungeon" from Netflix's "Ginny & Georgia," "All About Me" from "The L Word: Generation Q," "Your Personal Trash Man Can" from "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," "Fought & Lost" from "Ted Lasso," and "Now You Know" from "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this was Sheeran's first Emmy nomination. It was produced by mega pop producer Max Martin for the "Ted Lasso" season 3 finale. Sadly, Sheeran was not present at the Emmy Awards to accept his award.

Ed Sheeran's music has been awarded this time of the year for the Awards circuit. Aside from a Primetime Emmy nomination, Ed Sheeran's "Subtract" was also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Last year, he was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Camila Cabello for "Bam Bam."
Ed Sheeran 'Autumn Variations'
Ed Sheeran's most recent album, "Autumn Variations," has recently made buzz especially since it became his first non-Mathematics titled album that he has released in his career.
Variety reports that Ed Sheeran donated a portion of his proceeds from the sales of "Autumn Variations" and his newly-released "Fan Living Room Sessions" to the music education non-profit organization Save The Music.
Per the report, the proceeds of Sheeran's donations will be funneled to the organization to aid them in helping schools, students, and communities, to "unlock their full potential through making music."
Save The Music was also instrumental in Sheeran's efforts to visit schools in Los Angeles and New York City to donate guitars for their music departments.
The announcement came days after Sheeran announced the Fan Living Room Sessions album version of "Autumn Variations" on Instagram.
In one of the songs, some theorize that Ed Sheeran is having a rough patch with his wife, Cherry Seaborn. Sheeran hinted at cryptic lyrics about a failing marriage in his song, "Punchline."
