Addison Rae is alive and well despite the claims that she died in a car crash.
Death hoaxes immediately surfaced as soon as the new year started, with several celebrities and personalities becoming the victims of the false reports. Most recently, Rae's name was found in similar headlines after a buzz alleged she was involved in a car accident.
Addison Rae Is Alive Amid Death Rumors
The Sun reported about the "Addison Rae is dead" trend after a viral death hoax alleged the 23-year-old "2 die 4" singer passed away after a tragic car crash.
Social media platforms and other websites, including TikTok and YouTube, got the same phrase due to the immense number of posts by users regarding the baseless rumor.
It turned out that the same trend emerged as early as 2020, with #RIPAddisonRae also appearing on the searches.
According to reports, a since-deactivated X page, Woman Crave, started the viral hoax report.
Her fans also shrugged it off as the tags went viral while Rae was having a Live on Instagram. Some slammed the users who used the trend to spread fake news.
One said, "i know we all hate addison rae but to make a hashtag pretending shes dead is just sickening. the fact that y'all do stuff like this is really f----- up #RIPAddisonRae."
"Why are Addison Rae and Ellen DeGeneres suddenly dead?" another asked, while a third wrote, "y'all wait is addison rae dead?? like i f----- hope not but wtf is going on y'all."
Rae has yet to respond to the years-long trend, but she has since posted a jaw-dropping snap to end the rumors all at once.

Addison Rae Leaves Little to Imagination
On her Instagram page, Rae unveiled several photos taken during a time off at a beach. In some of the snaps, she flaunted her curves and toned physique while wearing bikinis and outfits.
She was also spotted in Los Angeles with her beau, Omer Fedi, as they took a stroll in Los Feliz.
The pair had been dating since 2021 after Rae's breakup with Bryce Hall.
Fedi then made their relationship Instagram official in August 2021 by unveiling a photo of himself with Rae alongside the caption, "She's wearing the pants in this relationship."
Meanwhile, Rae shared her relationship on TikTok by lip-syncing to the audio "Stop treating me like some girl that's obsessed with you."
