Grammy-winning singer Michael Bolton has expanded his career over the years.

Starting in the 1970s, Bolton has embraced his dream to become a musician. He started collaborating with other artists, including Ozzy Osbourne during the Black Sabbath member's tour.

Bolton recently shocked his fans when he posted an update online revealing he was diagnosed with a brain tumor that required him to undergo immediate surgery.

He assured fans he is now recuperating, thanks to the love and support he has received.

On the other hand, his health issue led him to take a break from touring.

"It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon," he said before thanking his fans. "Know that I'm keeping your positive messages in my heart, and I'll give you more updates as soon as I can. Much love always, MB."

Michael Bolton's Most Recent Project

Before his tour, Bolton released his new album, "Spark of Light." The project was his first original material in 14 years.

"I felt a responsibility to help people feel a spark in their lives. Music is very powerful that way," he shared. "We're all so humanly connected; we're so in need of some light," he says. "That became the working theme every day: 'How do we make [the music] make other people feel better?'"
