Justin Timberlake just cleared out his Instagram account, and everyone thinks he is gearing up for a new album.

According to reports, this is a common promo technique that has also been used by other artists like Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and more.

Aside from the cleared-out Instagram feed, Timberlake also removed his bio, making his social media page a clean slate--ready for a new one.

However, despite the "SexyBack" singer's efforts to tease new music, it seems like netizens are not impressed.

"And not a single person moved LMFAOOO," one wrote about Timberlake's potential new album

"Delete his social media next."

"Coming to flop."

"Yes girl, give us nothing."

"Clap if you care," another added.

"Back in 2013, we would've moved."

Justin Timberlake Faces Backlash Following Britney Spears' Memoir

Timberlake has been receiving criticisms and backlash for months after Britney Spears released her highly anticipated, successful memoir, "The Woman in Me."

According to reports, the "Oops I Did it Again" singer alleged that she got pregnant with Timberlake's baby, but he did not want it.

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy, Spears said in the fast-selling book. 'I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated," she wrote.

"But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

The singer took several massive hits from Spears' fans online; many of them vowed to make his life and career miserable.

Justin Timberlake Shades Britney Spears?

After being called out and dragged online after Spears' memoir was released, Timberlake seemingly had enough and tried to shade his ex-girlfriend by performing "Cry Me A River," a song allegedly dedicated to Spears.

According to reports, the singer gave audiences a disclaimer before performing the song. "No disrespect," he told the audience, which included his wife Jessica Biel.

Ironically, Spears discussed her relationship with Timberlake and the aftermath in "The Woman in Me" as well: "I couldn't explain, because I knew no one would take my side once Justin had convinced the world of his version. I don't think Justin realized the power he had in shaming me. I don't think he understands to this day."
