Can Olivia Rodrigo Win An Oscar Against Billie Eilish?

Talking more to Access Hollywood about possibly winning an Oscar for "Can't Catch Me Now," Olivia Rodrigo said that she did not write it to get an award.

"I think that if I was writing a song and thought about how other people were gonna hear it, I just would be so overcome by anxiety that I couldn't write at all," she said. "So I try to kind of block that all out and just write for me."

Rodrigo is in stiff competition with Billie Eilish for the win, provided that they both get nominated for the 5-nominee category. Eilish has already won various awards for "What Was I Made For," including the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
