    Montreal indie-rock powerhouse Arcade Fire has shared the video for its new single "You Already Know," which you can check out below. The video, which was directed by frontman Win Butler, features grainy footage of the band performing in a bedroom, and though Butler sings lead on the track, he's nowhere to be found for most of the video. Instead, his parts appear to be sung by the famous works of art hanging around the room. Butler eventually appears in a mirror at the end of the video, revealing that he had been filming the entire thing himself.

    It looks like Arcade Fire just a got a little more grungy, because the famed Indy rockers semi-covered Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” during a performance of “Rococo” at their Friday night show in George, Washington, Rolling Stone reports.

    Consequence of Sound reports that new wave legends Television and Devo will be opening for Arcade Fire on some upcoming dates of their Reflektor tour. Devo will open on July 30 in Mountain View, California, and again in Chicago on August 26 and 27. The New York-based Television will open at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on August 24.

    Pitchfork reports that the shortlist of nominees for the 2014 Polaris Music Prize has been revealed. The recipient of the annual award, which honors the best Canadian album of the year, "is selected by a large panel of Canadian journalists and broadcasters," and will be announced on September 22 at the Polaris Gala. The winner also receives a prize of $30,000.
