• Confirmed: There Will Be Two More 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movies!

Fifty Shades of Grey better live up to all of the hype because just yesterday it was announced that two sequels, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are officially getting their own film adaptations based on the book series by E.L. James. Sam Taylor-Johnson, the director of Fifty announced the news to a bunch of fans that had gathered at New York City's Ziegfeld Theater on Friday morning for a screening that included appearances by Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
  • Jamie Dornan Isn't Sure What to Expect Once 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Hits Theaters

Jamie Dornan might be on the verge of something really huge, and he is the first to admit that even he does not know what to expect once "Fifty Shades of Grey" finally premieres in theaters. The actor is covering the latest issue of "Variety" and discloses a bunch of interesting little nuggets for fans. Like the fact that he actually met with Robert Pattinson to discuss what it is like to star in what could become a huge franchise. Dornan said the two ended up getting drunk together and bonded that way.
  • Will 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Generate Enough Heat with R Rating?

It seems like we have been waiting forever for the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" to be released, and now that it is almost here, it has finally been given an official rating by the MPAA. Although it seemed like it was heading for an NC-17 branding, it has just been announced that "Fifty Shades of Grey" will hit theaters Feb. 13 with an R rating. The film, based on E.L. James's risqué BDSM trilogy, pulled an official R rating due to "strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity," which, of course, is no surprise to anyone who has read the series. But there has been concern all along about taking something so graphic and putting it on the big screen. In order to make fans of the book happy, whatever unfolds on screen is going to have to be really hot and risky. It is almost hard to imagine the film being able to mirror the book with just an R rating, don't you think? Perhaps what Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, have managed to create on screen will still hold even if it is not identical to the book. If their chemistry works well enough and if the actual movie is as cleverly crafted as the teasers for it have been, then it could work. Dornan recently talked about "Fifty Shades of Grey" being a love story at its root. Maybe they have worked to tap into an emotional connection as well as the obvious physical one that the book series is based on.
  • Third 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Trailer Drops — Do You Think the Chemistry Is Strong Enough?

The powers that are working behind-the-scenes to promote Fifty Shades of Grey are really doing their best to convince us that we need to hit the theaters next Valentine's Day to catch the films' premiere. A third clip has dropped giving us another glimpse of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson on camera together as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The 43 second teaser ends with Dornan uttering the infamous sentence, "Do you trust me?" inevitably drawing viewers into that moment and thinking about what comes next.
  • Will Film Adaptation of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Have Enough Chemistry to Satisfy Fans?

The closer we get to E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" rolling into theaters, the more fans and critics alike seem to love speculation on whether or not it will actually work. Let's face it, trying to bring a series about BDSM to life onscreen with even an NC-17 rating is going to be a really tricky task. The film has to be raunchy or else it'll feel like a watered down version of the first book and that will leave the diehard fans wishing they didn't waste their money. At the same time, producers need to be careful that it's not so raunchy that is chases moviegoers away, so the line that everyone needs to walk is very fine.
