• ABC May Kill Off 'The View' in Favor of Adding Another Hour to 'GMA'

    "The View's" first season without veteran reporter Barbara Walters may end up being its last on the air if something does not radically change — fast. Pairing Whoopi Goldberg with Rosie O'Donnell has once again proven to be a fiasco onscreen that turns viscous backstage. Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez seem unable to handle the stress and infighting caused by the other two and the ratings are in the toilet. At first ABC was looking ahead to next season and trying to figure out who it could bring in to help turn the show around, but now it is instead contemplating putting "The View" out of its misery after Season 18 ends. According to a report by "The Daily Mail," ABC may instead opt to replace the show with an extended hour of "Good Morning America," which already gets great ratings. "The brass at ABC feels like they've tried to do everything possible to breathe new life into this show and are debating about replacing it with an additional hour of the well-rated 'Good Morning America.' ABC feels it's exhausted their options with 'The View' and now it's time to expand the existing franchise, 'GMA.' They feel that since 'GMA' is already beating NBC's 'Today' during the first two hours of the broadcast, why not extend the morning broadcast?" says a source close to the network.

The trailer for the new season of the reality show dropped, and in it Kim is being more disrespectful than ever to her big sister. During one exchange caught on camera, Kim claims she is not buying Kourtney shoes because "I bought her a f--king career!" Leave it to Kim to think her sister's success is because of her help, right? If you think back to when we first started to pay attention to this family seven to eight years ago, it was Kourtney who was entrenched in running their Dash stores. While Kim has just wanted to look good, Kourtney has always actually worked in order to succeed, so for her to try and say she bought her sister's career is ridiculous. There is probably a lot more going on between these two than they actually allow the cameras to see. We recently learned that Kim was struggling to get pregnant with baby No. 2 and she was resenting the fact that her sister just had a third child with her loser baby daddy Scott Disick. Plus, Kourtney does not respect her sister's parenting style. She has insinuated about how ridiculous it is to take a 9-month-old baby to fashion week shows and use North West like an accessory to her outfits whenever she parades her around.

Lang decided to take a three-month leave from the soap she has been on for more than 25 years in favor of trying something completely new and out of her element. Lang recently talked to "TV Guide's" Michael Logan about the experience and, as it turns out, she might wish that she had passed on what seemed like a great opportunity. "I thought it would be fun to go over and compete on a dance program. [Laughs] Well, I was wrong! It turned out to be more of a reality show with dance involved and they really want to provoke you. They want to see your reactions. They want to see tears and anger. And they really want to see you fire back some retorts, which is so not my style. I don't like reality shows at all so, when I realized what was really going on, I was taken aback. I think maybe they thought they'd hired my character. They kept calling me 'Brooke.' I kept saying, 'My name is Kelly!' They had cameras on us during rehearsal at all times but they didn't show my injury on the air — in fact, they wanted to pretend it never happened. So when I was talking to the judges, I had to bring up my injury myself, which made it look like I was playing the pity card. [Laughs] I was, like, 'This is not happening!' said Lang of the experience.

According to a report by TMZ, power couple Kardashian and Kanye West have been trying to get pregnant for about nine months now, with no luck. The couple was spotted leaving her Beverly Hills's doctors office earlier this week, and sources say she has been visiting once a month in the hopes of becoming pregnant. Supposedly, three different specialists have told Kardashian that conceiving again might be a long shot at best. Sadly, she and West believed that since getting pregnant with North was so easy, then adding to the family would be a breeze. Instead, Kardashian has had no choice but to deal with whatever medical condition it is that makes conception difficult. Kim is not the only one in her family to struggle with fertility, though. Khloé Kardashian seemed to spend the majority of her marriage to Lamar Odom trying to unsuccessfully start a family.

    New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton have worked hard today to prove to the media and general public that they are committed to repairing the deep divide in the city. Early this morning, Bratton did an interview with "Today" that seemed to try and lead the way in smoothing over tensions between his officers and those on the job at City Hall. It has been widely reported that many officers do not feel that de Blasio has had their backs thanks to recent statements he has made. While Bratton understood how some officers are feeling, he also believes de Blasio has nothing to apologize for. Bratton also went on the record to say he believes it was wrong of officers to have turned their backs purposely on de Blasio before he gave a news conference about the deaths of two Brooklyn officers Saturday, Dec. 20. Some officers have reportedly felt that de Blasio has complicated their job by allowing protestors of the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown to freely roam city streets. Bratton challenged the notion that de Blasio has turned his back on the Police Department by reminding everyone that he has granted more than $400 million outside the normal budget to bolster the NYPD.

Apparently the couple had been contemplating honoring both of their fathers in their name choice, but in the end Kardashian nixed that completely. According to a source for Hollywood Life, Disick has not exactly been acting like a real father for the majority of Kardashian's pregnancy, and he likely enraged her by bouncing out to attend a lingerie party just a few days after his son's birth. "They both fought over the name, and Scott really wanted to stick to honoring their fathers, but Kourtney got more adamant that it be unique. She also is very upset with Scott and felt that he shouldn't have final say over the name since he is not doing his part as a father. Kourtney wanted to make the name decision to really hit home with Scott and see if it makes him want to finally change and get his act together," said the source.

Of course her statements were met with complete disagreement, and it was downhill from there. Apparently things were even worse behind the scenes, and once O'Donnell heard the conversation going on off-camera, she threatened to walk. According to a report by Radar Online, O'Donnell heard the staff discussing doing a split-screen between her and Goldberg and flipped: "Rosie heard several staffers talking about using a split screen if the fighting continued when taping resumed. Rosie went absolutely ballistic, pointing out that was the reason she had quit the first time. Racism is a very serious subject, and Rosie felt that the staff of the show was trying to exploit it for ratings. Whoopi and Rosie aren't even pretending to like each other on the air. It won't be the last time they spar. Needless to say, the crew is looking forward to the Christmas break. Both of them are acting extremely immature."

According to Radar Online, Kardashian is refusing to spend Christmas anywhere but at home together with her entire family. So far she is not considering a trip to Paris, and sources say that in Kardashian's mind it is not even an option.

Their living situation has also turned into a major bone of contention, as Kardashian has been living at her mother Kris Jenner's house for nearly two years now. Not only does the couple not have a home of their own, but West reportedly has every intention of making Paris his permanent residence next year, and little North West will be going with him. Kardashian is adamant about remaining in Los Angeles and keeping their baby with her.
