• 'Frozen' 'Let It Go' Synced to Christmas Lights: Performance Would Make Clark Griswold Proud [WATCH]

For years, Chevy Chase's Clark Griswold was the champion of holiday exterior illumination when he wrapped his home in thousands of Christmas lights for "Christmas Vacation." Since the 1980s, though, we have had a few technological advances in the area of Christmas lights. A few years ago, Miller Brewing Co. synced some lights to Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Wizards of Winter" and people have been beefing up their displays ever since. The most recent home display features a marvelous performance of "Let It Go" from Disney's "Frozen." The video comes from listentoourlights.com, and it is one of the better light performances around. The centerpiece is the front yard that contains two large trees and some smaller decorations. Huge snowflakes on the house illustrate a "storm" backdrop as they "fall" to the ground. The cactus in the window kind of threw me off, though. Either way, it is a terrific display for fans of the movie or those fond of Christmas lights. Check it out below. Frozen's soundtrack was recently named the best-selling album on the "Billboard" 200 chart for 2014. It beat out releases by Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean. The effort spent 13 weeks at the No. 1 spot, making it Disney's longest, best-selling soundtrack ahead of "The Lion King." This year has not been great for record sales, but Frozen was the first album to hit the platinum mark for 2014. Swift's "1989," Ariana Grande's "My Everything" and Aldean's "Old Boots, New Dirt" also surpassed 1 million sales. Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" is expected to join the club before year's end.

All told, Swift has been atop the Billboard 200 for 29 total weeks through her career. The only women ahead of her are Mariah Carey wit h30 weeks and Whitney Houston with 46, and it seems Swift could catch the former act next week if 1989 keeps its sales up.
  • Frozen's 'Let It Go' Gets a Puppy Cover [WATCH]

"Frozen's" "Let It Go" has gotten more then its fair share of covers since its release last year. The soundtrack has sold millions of copies and the movie was the most searched-for costume idea for Halloween, according to "Forbes." The latest cover or rendition of "Let It Go" comes from a cute puppy that has a visceral reaction to hearing Idina Menzel's version of "Let It Go." The sleeping dog is rather unperturbed by Charli XCX's "Boom Clap," but when the song switches over to the blissful piano and soft vocals of "Let It Go," the dog's ears perk up and it starts to look around wondering where the music is coming from, via MTV. The adorable man's best friend chimes in whenever Idina Menzel croons "Go," adding his own howls right on beat. Though we do not get to see a full cover of "Let It Go" from this cute back-seat pup, you get a good idea of its love for the song. As soon as the music is switched from "Frozen" back to Charlie XCX's "Boom Clap," the dog puts its head back down and goes back to sleep, losing interest in the music.

  • 'Frozen's' 'Let It Go' Gets 'Breaking Bad' Parody

"Frozen's" success has been staggering. Though it is no longer in theaters, its box office success was the fifth largest ever, according to the BBC, and it has sustained sales since the end of last year until now with DVD and soundtrack sales, notably being the only album, besides Taylor Swift's, to sell 1 million copies in 2014. It has inspired plenty of covers, including a Movember-themed one, remixes and mashups as well, and now because the Internet we have a must-watch Breaking Bad version of one of Frozen's songs, "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" via "Huffington Post." Taking two of the most popular cinematic pieces that have been released in the past two years and mashing them together is a genius idea. It is surprising it took this long to happen. The video is well-done, with quality cartoon animation that captures many different themes of the show, like the fly in the lab. The lyrics are written right in rhythm with the instrumental of "Frozen" that somehow makes the theme of cooking meth sound so cheery and happy.
