"The Nightclub and Bar Media Group," a trade publication, has released its list of the 100 top-grossing nightclubs in the U.S. in 2014. Topping the list are Las Vegas megaclubs XS, Hakkasan and Marquee and the trend continues throughout the list of major urban bottle service venues. -
Calvin Harris Reportedly Will Earn $400,000 Per Gig in New Hakkasan Deal
According to reports, EDM megastar Calvin Harris & Las Vegas nightlife brand Hakkasan Group are expected to announce a deal very soon that will lock the "Blame" producer in for reportedly three years and will net Harris $400,000 a gig. Calvin Harris is currently a resident at Hakkasan and was the DJ there on New Year's Eve, where you could have gotten a table for $500,000. Harris will also be reportedly playing shows at Hakkasan and Omnia Nightclub, the newly opened club in the Caesars Palace, which boasts a DJ roster of Afrojack, Armin van Buuren and Martin Garrix. -

Hakkasan Group has been expanding its Las Vegas empire over the past twelve months and one of those additions has been opening the new Omnia Nightclub in Caesar's Palace. The group converted the old Pure Nightclub into a brand new state of the art facility to compete with the other mega-clubs on the strip. However, in the current Vegas climate, it is not enough to have a massive club and expect people to just show. One must have some of the top brand-name DJs playing at your club and Omnia Nightclub has secured some of those names starting with some of the top acts in the world including Afrojack, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren. -
Tiesto Extends Hakkasan Las Vegas Residency
Dutch DJ Tiësto, continues his reign over Las Vegas nightlife. He has inked a new deal with MGM Grand and Hakkasan to extend his residency at Vegas mega-club. The terms have not been disclosed yet, but it will lock him in for an exclusive, multi-year deal with the club. He will continue his "Club Life" residency at Hakkasan nightclub and his "Republic of Tiësto" residency during the summer at WET REPUBLIC. -
Hakkasan To Purchase 90 Percent Stake of Morgans Hotel-Owned Light Group
When the Hakkasan opened up the most expensive club ever built in the world in April 2013, CEO Neil Moffitt said they were not satisfied with where they stood. With the $100 million, 80,000 square-foot mega-club - the largest of its kind in North America - Hakkasan has established itself as a major player in the hyper competitive Las Vegas club scene. The club has decided to expand its reach as a hospitality brand and has been aggressively looking to acquire rival clubs within the space. Their latest move according to Forbes, is set to complete a negotiation with Morgans Hotel Group over their stake in the Light Group, the owners of Light Nightclub and 1 Oak. -
Hakkasan Group Converting Caesar's Palace's Pure Nightclub to New Club Omnia, to Open on Las Vegas Strip Spring 2015
Nowhere in the United States is the EDM arms race more dramatic than Las Vegas and a new club is entering the mix. Which is to say the Hakkasan Group, which already operates the city's most hopping venue in MGM Grand's Hakkasan, will now be operating Omnia out of Caesar's Palace.
