• Stream Wale's 'The Album About Nothing'

Wale fans, the time has arrived: "The Pessimist" rapper has released his long-awaited fourth artist album 'The Album About Nothing.' Far from an album about nothing, it touches on heavy subjects like depression, drug and alcohol abuse and a miscarriage. The LP does all of this while also maintaining a fun side with the strong connection to Jerry Seinfeld and his show 'Seinfeld,' pulling excerpts from the show and pieces of their conversations together. The album is not packed filled with features but makes the most of each one with guest spots from J. Cole, Usher, Jeremih, SZA and Seinfeld.

  • Kendrick Vs. Everybody: How Did 'To Pimp A Butterfly' Sell Compared to Recents from Kanye West, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj and More?

Kendrick Lamar was certainly king of the Billboard 200 this week, as To Pimp A Butterfly sold three times as many copies as any other record on the market during the last week. Part of the hip-hop game, more so than any other genre, is arguing about who's no. 1. Generally that means a ranking of who can drop the best bars, but money—regardless of what Jay Z and Jermaine Dupri tell you—is most certainly a thang. So how does the most hyped performer in recent years stack up against industry giants in terms of sales?
  • J. Cole Releases "G.O.M.D." Music Video [WATCH]

    J. Cole has unveiled the music video for his '2014 Forest Hills Drive' song "G.O.M.D." Though as 'Complex' reported, the rapper and his label have chosen "Wet Dreamz" as the next album single, Cole still went ahead with the release of this video, providing powerful visuals to one of the more personal tracks. The visuals cast J. Cole as a house slave somewhere in the South, where his fellow slaves resent him for receiving favorable treatment. Cole comes to the rescue with the help of the family's daughter and a lot of whisky, where he is able to get the key to the gun closet and distribute weapons to his fellow slaves. They are then able to take over the plantation from their abusive master and start a massive fire before an impending battle looms with other whites. Watch the video below via Cole.

  • Australian Music Festival Fails: 5 Events Suffering Bad Luck and Bad Organization in Memory of Sunbury

Australia is one of the toughest places to stage a music festival due to its relative isolation from the rest of the world. There's plenty of fans to provide funding for a limited number of events but it's still tough to draw (and pay) huge acts for traveling so far for what's most likely to be just on appearance (versus a longer tour scenario, where headliners such as Katy Perry can make oodles of cash). Here are five festivals that have undergone downsizing down under recently.
