The reigning (and two time) Male Vocalist of the Year, Jason Aldean, who many thought would grab his 4th consecutive Entertainer of the Year nod as well as his 4th Male Vocalist nod, heard crickets. -

The Digital Downloads Top 10 happens to be both opened and closed by a debut track this week. Leading at no. 1 with the second largest single debut of 2014 is Jessie J and "Bang Bang," which features help from Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. It sold 230,000 downloads, a total only surpassed by Grande's "Problem" for most debut downloads this year. That song, however, fell out of the Top 10 this week. Closing out this week at no. 10 was Maroon 5's "It Was Always You," which sold 95,000 downloads, not at all a bad start. -

Country fans continue to prove their loyalty when an act releases a new single. Jason Aldean becomes the most recent performer to shoot sky-high on the Digital Downloads chart after dropping a new song, as "Burnin' It Down" moved 184,000 downloads and tops the list. -
