• Matt and Kim Debut New Music at Coachella, Surprise-Release ‘We Were The Weirdos’ EP [LISTEN]

    Ahead of their upcoming tour with Ellie Goulding, the Brooklyn-based indie dance-pop outfit consisting of Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino -- best known simply as Matt and Kim -- have surprise-released a new EP titled 'We Were The Weirdos.' The duo announced the EP and debuted a driving dance-punk track from it titled "Please No More" during their Coachella set this past Sunday afternoon.

    Matt & Kim are back. The pair is known for their high energy live shows and the single, "Daylight," which eventually went gold. The duo have been back in the studio and have announced their fifth album, 'New Glow,' will be released on April 7th, 2015. The album is available for pre-order now through the band's website and those who do pre-order will get exclusive access to tickets for their upcoming spring tour. In addition to the new album, Matt & Kim have also released the lyric video to their new single, "Get It," which features live footage from their shows across the US, highlighting their ability to work a crowd.

    Sunday's attendance of 19,000 beat Saturday's record-breaking tally, bringing the final count to 36,000 for LouFest's 2014 edition. With four full-length albums under their belt, the duo is preparing their fifth LP and winding down their latest tour in support of their 2012 effort, Lightning.
