• Super Bowl National Anthem: Blake Shelton's Rumored Singer

The final piece of the Super Bowl music puzzle — Who will sing the national anthem? — has yet to be solved, but a recent report from "Hollywood Life" indicates that country star and "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton will do the honors. "The Super Bowl organizers are looking to mix it up a little bit for the person to do the national anthem," a source told "HL." "They want a guy and they have asked Blake Shelton." Apparently, Blake has not been answering his phone, though. "He hasn't responded to it yet but they are anticipating a yes and they want to make the announcement during an upcoming playoff game," the source said. "So they are looking to lock the performer in by the end of the week. But Blake is on the top of the list." If Blake is officially announced as the singer, he will join a cast of music stars already in place for the big game. Katy Perry will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX halftime show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona Feb. 1, 2014. She follows Bruno Mars's 2014 performance, which kicked a-- and drew an unprecedented 115.3 million viewers. Check out the Pepsi-sponsored Perry preview below:
