The rapper released the straightforward and very real track about racial tension in America and how many steal from black culture but don't come around when black lives are in danger. The rapper mentioned Iggy Azalea on the track and it initially didn't go over so well with her. Now it seems she is shrugging off the entire situation and song by saying that we are "global." -

It looks like 2015 will be a good year for Macklemore fans. Although nothing official has been announced, the "Thrift Shop" rapper recently responded to a comment on Twitter asking about new music. Mack responded by telling the follower that new material will be out this year, "XXL" notes. The release will be the follow-up to 2012's smash hit "The Heist." Dec. 1 was World AIDS Day and actors, celebrities and musicians all lined up to show their support to try and fight one of the deadliest diseases in the world. Kanye West, Bono, Chris Martin, Carrie Underwood and Bruce Springsteen all played a concert for (RED) in Times Square last night to help raise awareness for the fight against AIDS. Ryan Lewis — the producer, dosc jockey and co-songwriter for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis — shared his mother's story dealing with the illness and what he has done since then in launching the 30/30 project.
