    The 2015 American Music Awards already have a host in Jennifer Lopez, and all that was missing before Tuesday (Oct. 13) were the nominees. But, then Joe Jonas and Charlie Puth popped up on Good Morning America to announce the nominees. Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift leads the pack with six nods thanks to 1989.

    For the Amy Schumer-hosted episode of 'Saturday Night Live,' The Weeknd obliged as the show's musical guest, ready to reveal a total of three surprises for his 'SNL' appearance. Before Abel Tesfaye stpped foot on stage, he unveiled two 'Beauty Behind the Madness' remix tracks for his smash hit "The Hills"--one boasting the rapping talents of Eminem and the other, Nicki Minaj. The 'Pinkprint' singer then surprisingly showed up onstage to assist the Weeknd on the latest take of Billboard Hot 100's current number one track.

His self-titled album has debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart, beating new releases from the likes of Don Henley, George Strait, Thomas Rhett and CHVRCHES.
