On Monday (Nov. 9) rapper French Montana celebrated his born day in Los Angeles amongst friends. After the passing of Montana's friend and fellow Cokeboys member earlier this year, Chris Brown went out of his way to make Montana feel especially loved by painting him a portrait on his birthday honoring his fallen friend, rapper Chinx Drugz.

In early May, Chinx lost his life when an unidentified shooter approached his Porsche Panamera and opened fire.  As of now, Chinx's killer has yet to be caught, which undoubtably cast a huge shadow over his loved ones, including Montana.

As a result, Brown, a close friend of Montana’s, gifted the rapper with a beautiful portrait of the rapper alongside Chinx serving as his guardian angel. The portrait featured Montana donning a pink tuxedo and black bowtie, wearing his signature smile, while Chinx Drugz was painted in an assortment of colors with his new wings.

In recent months, Montana and Brown have grown significantly closer, which is why the thoughtful gift from Brown should come as no surprise. A few short weeks ago the duo shot the video for Montana’s new single, “Moses” featuring Brown and Migos, not to mention Montana’s cameo appearance in Miami on Brown’s One Helluva Nite Tour where he got to perform “Loyal” for the first time alongside Brown and Lil Wayne.

Happy birthday, French Montana!
