    It's hard to believe, but season seven of The Voice is starting to wind down. Last week, the top 10 gave some of the worst performances of the season. So, if these kids want to seem worthy of the top five or, god forbid, even winning this show, they needed to show up. Luckily for them, they did. From the best of the best (Matt McAndrew, Craig Wayne Boyd) to those who are just somehow holding on (Ryan Sill, Luke Wade), everyone was better than usual, making this show feel truly legitimate.

    Killer Mike is use to voicing his opinions, whether it be through rhymes with Run the Jewels, emotional onstage speeches or op-eds. Most recently, the rapper co-wrote an article for USA Today about his genre's unfair treatment in the courts. Erik Neilson, an assistant professor at the University of Richmond, helped pen the op-ed, which takes issue with the recent Elonis v. U.S. case in which Anthony Elonis was sentenced to 44 months in prison after posting violent verses on Facebook

    Can you believe it has been almost a month since a fight between Masika Tucker and Yung Berg got way out of control after the taping of the "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" reunion show in New York City? Tucker called the police after Berg allegedly choked her out and beat her up but that doesn't mean that their relationship is over. In fact, they both have posted visual proof on Instagram that shows that they are still very much together.

    December marks the unfortunate anniversary of the death of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell. The legendary axeman, aka Darrell Abbott, was shot onstage in 2004 while performing with Damageplan. It was a huge loss for the metal community and fans of his work, which lives on even though he is gone. Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash shared a few memories with Loudwire recently about the slain guitarist, who died Dec. 8.

    Fifty years ago on this day, Ringo Starr was forced to take a 12 days absence from The Beatles (allowing Jimmy Nicol a brief gig and a lifelong pickup line) to undergo a medical procedure. The culprit? Tonsillitis. Starr's predicament might not have been as dire due to his duty as a drummer (not primary vocalist) but the condition, which causes the swelling of the tonsils, has struck many a performer.
