    Led by Dan Tyminski of Alison Krauss's Union Station band, Barry Bales, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan and Mike Compton, also known as the Soggy Bottom Boys, have won 47 Grammys between them. They gained national attention as a band when their song, "Man of Constant Sorrow," was featured in the hit film, O Brother, Where Art Thou? but the talented men went back to their regular musical lives rather than pursuing fame as SBB.

    Lily Allen isn't nakes like Miley Cyrus of playing with bondage gear like Britney Spears in her new music video for "Our Time," but that doesn't mean MTV has to like it. According to an e-mail the pop star posted on her Twitter, the music-centric(ish) network wants her to censor her new clip, lest it be aired only after 7 p.m.

  • Ennio Morricone's Los Angeles concert, interview with Quentin Tarantino delayed due to surgery

    Legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone announced Thursday that he would need to postpone two Los Angeles events due to back surgery. The composer, best known for his work with Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns such as "Fistful of Dollars" and "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," was scheduled to sit down for an interview with director Quentin Tarantino on March 18 and conduct a 200-member orchestra on March 20.
