Arcade Fire Will Air 30-Minute Concert Special After SNL Premiere for New Album 'Reflektor'
Saturday Sept. 28 is officially Arcade Fire night. The Montreal band is slated as the musical guest for the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. And incase that wasn't enough, Consequence of Sound has confirmed that NBC will air a 30-minute Arcade Fire concert special on following the SNL episode, hosted by Tina Fey. More details on the special are still to come. -

It seems just a few weeks after the video for the absurd "What Does The Fox Say?" went crazy on YouTube, people are already sick of it. Maybe it just doesn't have the flexibility that Bauuer's "Harlem Shake" did. One group, the Ohio University marching band, put a fresh spin on the song Saturday night when it performed "Fox Say?" during the halftime performance at the university's football game against Marshall. -
Britney Spears Debuts 'Work Bitch' a Day Early After Track Was Leaked [LISTEN]
Britney Spears awoke yesterday morning to find that a low-quality version of her single, "Work Bitch" had been leaked. She originally slated the release for tonight at 6 p.m., but had to work quickly to put the mastered version on the air as soon as possible to mitigate the spread of the low-quality leak. Fans were urged to restrain themselves from listening to "Work Bitch" until the official release. They moved the radio premier up to 3 p.m. ET, and the song became available on iTunes at 12:01 a.m. in the U.S. and a few hours later globally (except the U.K.). -

CONCERT REVIEW: Alt-J (∆) and Lord Huron at Rumsey Playfield, Central Park, NYC Sept. 15
Last night's concert at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park had all the elements to be a great show. The weather was near perfect. The outdoor venue, surrounded by trees, had a whimsical ambiance. No matter where you stood in the intimate confines, you weren't too far from the stage. And, oh yeah, Alt-J (∆) would be playing. -

The sudden rash of drug-related deaths at electronic music events continued over the weekend as a concert-goer in Sydney, Australia died of an overdose at the Defqon. 1 Festival. The suspected cause of the death was "tainted Ecstasy." During the weekend, 14 more attendees were hospitalized. -

Kanye West Announces New Tours Dates in New York City, Toronto and Los Angeles
Didn't manage to get tickets for Kanye West's upcoming "Yeezus" tour? Well, if you live in one of five lucky cities, you might be in luck. West announced on Saturday that the tour would be adding additional dates in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto (yes, that's five dates spread over three cities). Unfortunately, no new cities were added to the tour. Kendrick Lamar will open on all of the new dates.
