Chaos erupted moments before Louis Tomlinson's highly anticipated concert in Brisbane, Australia, leaving several fans with severe injuries.

Scheduled to take place at the iconic Riverstage in Brisbane, Australia, Tuesday night was meant to be a joyous celebration of the former One Direction bandmate's solo career.

In anticipation of securing prime seats at the concert, a multitude of eager ticket holders had gathered outside the venue overnight.

Their hopes were soon dashed as the venue strictly enforced its no-camping policy, forcing the hopeful early birds to be turned away.

As reported by Brisbane Times, the staff at Riverstage committed to providing early arrivers with numbered wristbands starting from 9:30 am on Tuesday, ensuring that they could retain their spot in line.

However, the venue could not have foreseen the overwhelming response from over 2000 fans, resulting in a shortage of only 500 blue wristbands available.

Concert Catastrophe

As tensions escalated within the gatherings, heated conflicts erupted among the attendees.

The already boiling frustration intensified when it came to light that certain individuals had been gifted gold wristbands before Monday even arrived.

In the aftermath of the colossal tumult, chaos ensued as a stampede broke out, leaving disorder in its wake.

According to a recent interview with the Brisbane Times, a 15-year-old teenager recounted a harrowing experience.

They explained that the relentless force of the wind was so strong that they were forcefully propelled into nearby trees.

Despite the chaos and potential harm, several fans found themselves injured, highlighting the immense danger surrounding the situation.

According to the witness, fans were resorting to extreme measures, leaping over gates in a desperate attempt to navigate the chaotic scene.

In response to potential dangers posed by inclement weather, council officers took decisive action to prioritize the safety of enthusiastic young fans who had eagerly gathered ahead of time, despite the established guidelines discouraging this behavior, according to a representative.

"The event promoter later opted to honor the wristbands handed out by officers," said the representative.

"Council will be having discussions with all promoters to ensure their events are safely managed."

Louis Tomlinson started his global tour taking the stage in Melbourne first, marking the start of his journey across Australia.

Next on the agenda are electrifying performances in Brisbane on Tuesday, January 30, followed by a highly-anticipated show in Sydney on Friday, February 2.
