Death threats intended for someone else ended up addressed to Ruby Rose.

The Australian actress and TV presenter received texts meant for American rapper Rubi Rose in an instance of mistaken identity.

In an online battle between Nicki, 41, and fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion, Rubi, 26, had weighed in. Nicki's horde of admirers, known as the "Barbz," were drawn to Rubi's Instagram post since it contained several derogatory remarks about Nicki's physical appearance and health.

However, it was Ruby Rose, 37, who took the brunt of Nicki's supporters' wrath. "I have a 'Y' in my name, not a 'I,'" Ruby begged Nicki's hordes of admirers to comprehend that she had no interest in being involved in the turmoil in her own Instagram post.

"I never thought I'd see the day when I was being flooded with death threats for involvement in a rap beef." Ruby went on to say that puppy pictures were more common in her own Instagram posts than rappers. Ruby stated, "I don't post about rappers on my Close Friends story."

"I assure you my Close Friends list is never used for anything but more dog photos. I don't know much about the inner workings of the rap world, period.

Fans of the former pals are enthralled with the ongoing feud between Nicki and Megan, which intensified on January 26 after Megan dropped a "diss" single. The song, called Hiss, has lyrics that many have taken to be a subliminal jab at Nicki Petty's spouse, Kenneth Petty.

Although Nicki Minaj has never shied away from controversy, some fans are distancing themselves from the self-described Queen of Rap due to her ongoing spat with Megan Thee Stallion. Everything began on Friday when Megan dropped her brand-new song, "Hiss."

Megan's Law, which shields civilians from sexual predators, especially children, was mentioned in the ferocious song.

Megan didn't identify anyone in the song, but Minaj read this line as a jab at her husband Kenneth Petty, who entered a guilty plea for trying to rape a 16-year-old girl in 1995 when he was also 16 years old. The sex offender registration for New York state states that Petty used a "knife/cutting instrument" against his victim.

Minaj responded by making fun of Megan's height and her gunshot wound with a freestyle rap on Instagram Live that went, "Bad bitch she like six foot / I call her big foot / The bitch fell off / I said get up on your good foot."

The feud escalated after that - with Nicki Minaj even disrespecting Megan Thee Stallion's mom's memory.
