The Beastie Boys is a hip-hop, rap-rock group signed under Def Jam Records that rose to prominence in the 80s through their single "Cooky Puss."
While no longer active, the Beastie Boys, or simply the Beast Boys to some, has left a mark in both music and the dating scene in Hollywood-especially Adam Horovitz, who is best known for his screen name Ad-Rock.
Who Has Ad-Rock Dated?
According to the Who's Dated Who website, Ad-Rock has had one of the most colorful dating histories among the group's three members.
He dated "The Breakfast Club" star Molly Ringwald from 1987 to 1988; they went on several high-profile dates like the 1987 Oscar Awards together.
Ringwald reminisced that particular night in an Instagram post last year: "This is me and Adam, my bf at the time. He wanted to show up with a boombox on his shoulder but I (regrettably) wouldn't let him. We skipped the Governor's ball and went to Pioneer Chicken instead. I'm wearing Chanel."
The former couple met at the set of "The Pick-Up Artist" when Ad-Rock was dabbling in acting on top of his music career.
"I finished doing The Pick-Up Artist, and the producer was putting together the music. He brought the Beastie Boys in to talk to them about having a song in the movie, and Adam gave his number to the producer," the "Pretty in Pink" actress recalled.
"I went and looked at some music magazines. I was trying to figure out which Adam it was, because I only wanted to call if it was Adam Horovitz. I thought he was really cute."

Beastie Boy Ad-Rock Finds True Love
Aside from dating Ringwald, Ad-Rock got into two more relationships; in 1992, he married British-American actress Ione Skye before they eventually divorced in 1999.
The hip-hop artist then met his current wife singer and writer Kathleen Hanna a few years later; the couple tied the knot in 2006.
Unlike other groups, the Beastie Boys' dating history is not as controversial or high-profile.
The late member, Adam Yaunch, or MCA dated two women, actress Tiffany Limos in 1995 before he met his wife Dechen Wangdu in 1998.
MCA died in 2012 from parotid cancer, he was 47.

Beastie Boy Mike D Stays Single
Unlike the other members of the Beastie Boys, Mike D, whose real name is Michael Diamond, has remained single.
As of this writing, the rapper has not gotten married nor has he gotten engaged, reports say.
