All eyes will be on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at the NFL's Super Bowl especially since they are now considered the It couple in Hollywood.

During the NFL's Honors, comedian Keegan-Michael Keys pointed out that while the couple is the most talked about pair in music and sports right now, they are not the first--and would not be the last.

"Of course, we're going to talk about Travis and Taylor. I think they're both great, and I'm happy for them," Key said.

"But Travis Kelce, you know this isn't the first time a player has dated a singer. There's Russell [Wilson] and Ciara. There was Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson. And, of course, there was Peyton Manning and Brad Paisley."

Fans of both the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are eagerly anticipating the couple to reunite at the Super Bowl this coming weekend, especially since they have not been seen together for a while.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Follows Jessica Simpson, Tony Romo's Footsteps?

According to reports, before the entire country trained their eyes and interests on Swift and Kelce, there was another couple that everyone had a lot of interest in Simpson and Romo.

Romo was the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, while Simpson was one of the most prominent singers in the early 2000s.

They began dating in November 2007 after the football player revealed having a crush on the singer; Simpson happened to be watching that very same interview and was instantly interested.

"His picture came up, and I'm like, 'He's really cute.' Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh!'" Simpson recalled.

After they started dating, Simpson was constantly seen at Romo's NFL games, constantly supporting him, wearing a pink Dallas jersey at the VIP suite.

Over a decade later, the "You Belong With Me" singer is now doing the exact same thing, cheering on Kelce during his games, and wearing his jersey or sporting red in support of the Chiefs.

Taylor Swift Heads to the Super Bowl

While there seemed to be little to no complaints about Simpson attending Romo's games before, Swift has garnered a ton of hate from NFL fans for being present at her boyfriend's games.

However, the singer addressed this in an interview: "I'm just there to support Travis.

"I have no awareness of if I'm being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads."
