Thee Oh Sees just announced a fall tour, and fans will be seeing a different lineup than they're used to.
Frontman John Dwyer culled an all-new trio out of thin air this spring after mainstays Brigid Dawson (vox, keys), Petey Dammit (bass, guitar) and Lars Finberg (drums, guitar) made their separate exoduses.
The new kids on the block (as originally reported by Brooklyn Vegan) are Nick Murray (drums) and Timothy Hellman (bass).
Dwyer recently made headlines after announcing his record label (Castle Face Records) would provide free music to any incarcerated person in the United States. The program, titled CASTLE FACE FOR THE INCARCERATED, simply requires inmates or family members to send mailing information, and then the music is shipped.

Most of us have a relative, a loved one, a friend or a friend of a friend that is or has been incarcerated. These are our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters. More than half of those relegated to cages are there for nonviolent "crimes": vice crimes, thought crimes, political crimes and the like. It is extremely important we do not forget these brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters.
