"It was just a feeling," the 55-year-old musician revealed.
"We explored it without knowing that we definitely wanted to do it because we needed to make sure that the people we did it with was the right people. People who respected what we wanted to do, the culture, the authenticity that we wanted."

According to director Reinaldo Marcus Green, "We cast, I would say, 98% Jamaicans."
"We have real musicians as well. It creates that authentic feeling. It doesn't feel like you're watching actors trying to play music. You have real music by real musicians."
