At 81, Barbra Streisand is receiving her Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award at the 20245 SAG Awards on Feb. 24, 2024, at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.

The award was also bestowed to the likes of Julie Andrews, Sally Field, Helen Mirren, Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, and Sidney Poitier, among many others. Jennifer Aniston was tapped to present Streisand the award.
"Ever since I was a young girl sitting in the Loew's Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, I dreamed of being one of those actresses I saw on the screen," Streisand said in a statement, talking about the award, as quoted by Entertainment News Online. "The movies were a portal to a world I could only imagine..Even though I was an unlikely candidate, somehow my dream came true. This award is especially meaningful to me because it comes from my fellow actors, whom I so admire."
