Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Date At Sydney Zoo After Being Branded ‘Hypocrites’

Travis Kelce has officially landed down under! The Kansas City Chiefs football superstar was recently spotted hanging out with his girlfriend Taylor Swift at a zoo in Australia following his backlash over the use of a private jet.

According to Page Six, the pop star took her boyfriend to Sydney Zoo along with her opening act Sabrina Carpenter. They spent time around the wildlife park without any other guests as it was reported that they had a private tour.

As seen in a video shared by Channel 9 News in Australia, Swift kept it casual by wearing a pink tank top, a denim skirt, and a pair of white shoes.

On the other hand, the NFL athlete wore a black shirt, a pair of red shorts, white shoes, and a white cap.

Throughout their tour, the couple got up close with animals like kangaroos and koalas and they hand-fed them during the outing.

The latest news comes after Taylor Swift visited the same zoo with her dancers on Wednesday after they conducted a sound check at the Accor Stadium.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Under Fire Over Private Jet Issue

Prior to Kelce's arrival in Australia, the couple was criticized for the use of Swift's private jet as the aircraft picked up the NFL star from Honolulu, Hawaii, to travel to Sydney.

Oli London, a popular social media personality, took to X to share his thoughts on the matter, as he wrote, "Climate change activist Taylor Swift sends her private jet from Sydney to Hawaii to pick up her boyfriend Travis Kelce and bring him to Australia. The round trip will emit 3 metric tons of CO2. The CO2 emissions equate to melting 95.4 square feet of Arctic sea ice." (via Newsweek)

"I don't care where Taylor Swift flies to, or how often she uses her private jet. But please don't preach the climate change bullshit at any of your concerts. Don't be a hypocrite," another one wrote.

A close insider clarified to the outlet that the private aircraft used to pick up Kelce was not Swift's chartered plane.

This was not the first time the pop star came under fire for the same issue as she also received negative reactions when she flew from Tokyo to Los Angeles and then Las Vegas using her VistaJet Global 6000 just to watch the Super Bowl.

Swift and Kelce are reportedly staying at the Crown Towers, the luxurious six-star hotel in Sydney.

The villa, which is located on the 88th floor of the establishment, reportedly costs a whopping $16,300 USD per night.
