Nicki Minaj is blissfully married to her husband Kenneth Petty, and they even welcomed their first baby in September 2020; however, before settling down, the "Super Bass" rapper had an interesting dating life.

Minaj entered the music scene dating Safree Samuels; they dated for 12 years before breaking up, and according to him, their relationship turned toxic, US Weekly reported.

"[It] got to the point where I was being treated like an employee, instead of, like, her man," Samuels said in an interview with "The Breakfast Club."

After Samuels, the "Starships" hitmaker began dating Meek Mills in 2015; their relationship lasted two years before they called it quits.

In May 2017, Minaj started going out with Nas, and while they are no longer together, their bond stayed strong; it might have something to do with their shared home borough, Queens, New York.

Did Nicki Minaj Date Lil Wayne, Lewis Hamilton?

According to Tell Tales Online, despite their "questionable" relationship, Minaj and Lil Wayne, her rap mentor, do not have a romantic relationship.

Minaj called Lil Wayne "her brother," and they are "really good friends."

To this day, the pair work and collaborate on music; Lil Wayne was featured on the rapper's recently released album, "Pink Friday 2," for the song "RNB" with Tate Kobang.

On the other hand, Minaj's relationship with Hamilton is unconfirmed, however, there have been rumors that they did date before.

Nicki Minaj, Kenneth Petty's Marriage

In 2019, Minaj decided that she had found "the one" when she got married to her now-husband, Petty.

"I didn't think it would be as refreshing and calming as it is, the rapper said during an interview. "Even if you're not married, when you have someone that feels like your soul mate or someone who understands you, it just makes you feel like you're on top of the world."

According to Entertainment Tonight, despite the many sexual assault and rape allegations hurled at her husband, Minaj continues to defend him.

"Because I've known my husband for so long, there's an ease we have with each other," she said.

"We make each other laugh. We're silly. And we're always reminiscing about some old story. If it was a guy that I met as Nicki Minaj, I think I'd feel like they liked me because I'm Nicki Minaj, and what if I don't look like Nicki Minaj every day? And that, combined with pregnancy, would probably have made me crazy."

The couple share a son they nicknamed "Papa Bear."
