Recently revamped to emphasize basketball, choir, and dance, Kanye West's exclusive Christian school, Donda Academy, remains open for eager students.

The controversial rapper established the Los Angeles academy in 2021, attracting attention with its $15,000 annual tuition fee.

Hiring leading choreographers underscores the school's commitment to providing top-notch arts education to its students.

Kanye West's Donda Academy Thrives Amid Lawsuits

The institution perseveres amid legal challenges from ex-employees regarding unconventional methods at Donda Academy and the desertion of its initial ranch location.

Under a fresh identity as Donda Ray Academy, paying homage to his parents, Kanye has relocated the school to a warehouse in Chatsworth, within the scenic San Fernando Valley.

According to a source who spoke to The Sun recently, Kanye West relentlessly committed to supporting the children, even when the school faced initial challenges.

Gregory Suhr, an attorney representing the music mogul, refuted claims from former teachers that the school was a futuristic establishment created solely to cater to Kanye's unique preferences.

Allegations were made against the celebrity, claiming they failed to offer seating, exclusively served sushi to the youngsters, and that the educational institution lacked windows due to Kanye's aversion to glass materials.

Moreover, the school has witnessed a series of changes in leadership ever since its establishment.

By its mission, Donda Ray Academy is said to be dedicated to providing students with a faith-oriented education to nurture future leaders.

The school is categorized as a private elementary school located in the Simi Valley Unified School District, as indicated on the official website of the California Department of Education.

Designed to serve children from five to 18 years old, the academy focuses on shaping young minds through its unique approach to learning. As outlined in a recent study, guardians are required to endorse robust NDAs due to the founder's widespread recognition.
