Pop-Tarts is eyeing Taylor Swift's recipe for fruit-filled pastries. Will Swifties soon be able to buy these?

Pop-Tarts is requesting that the singer "release the recipe" after Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that the 34-year-old surprised the players with her handmade cookies during the season.

The toaster-pastry company posted on Instagram on Friday, saying, "To KC's most famous fan, we heard there's a Pop-Tarts pastry (Your Version) and in its honor, we're donating to @harvesters, a local Feeding America partner food bank," the toaster-pastry brand said in an Instagram post Friday. "But if you #releasetherecipe, we'll double our donation."

A Pop-Tart replica of Swift's "Release the Recipe" Eras Tour poster was included with the request.

Swifties took to the post right away, and because it was for a worthy cause, they began asking their favorite pop artist to reveal the recipe.

Additionally, the firm asked Swift to share the recipe with her followers in a full-page advertisement that ran in the Kansas City Star on Friday.

According to Harvesters, Pop-Tarts gave the nonprofit an initial payment of $12,500 and promised to match it to $25,000 if Swift withdrew her recipe.

"Taylor has been a supporter of us in the past," Harvesters said. "Now, her sharing the recipe could mean even more money for folks in Kansas City experiencing food insecurity."

Reid Discusses Pop-Tarts Treats

Reid said last week on an NFL broadcast by NBC that Swift enjoys cooking and that she gave the team homemade Pop-Tarts during the season. However, Reid was not given a Pop-Tart by Taylor Swift.

To the pleasure of presenters Mike Florio and Chris Simms, Reid said, "Kind of behind-the-scenes, she, to fit in - she didn't even know she was doing this, I don't think - she likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen homemade Pop-Tarts."

The coach said that Reid didn't receive any of the treats when asked whether he had any.

"She didn't give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn't give me one!" Reid laughed.

Swift has already had a baked good go viral before. Her Chai Sugar Cookies, the recipe for which is easily found online, were also well-liked before.

Swift has completed her Eras Tour stops in Australia and Japan, and she is presently in Singapore.

After congratulating her on wearing friendship bracelets, boyfriend Travis Kelce of Sydney gave her a kiss at the conclusion of the evening.
