CMT Awards 2024: Nominations, Performers, Host, Where to Watch, More Details

Calling all country music fans! The CMT Music Awards released their official nominees for this year; see below if your favorite artists made it to the list.

According to People, this year's top nominees are Kelsea Ballerini, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Cody Johnson, who each have three nominations.

In addition, some artists made it to the list for the first time, such as Amber Riley, Bret Michaels, Stephen Wilson, Warren Zeiders, and many more.

The annual awards show will be hosted by Ballerini and it will air live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Apr. 7.

For those who wish to tune in, the show will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can also access it through streaming via Paramount+.

As of this writing, details behind the official performers and presenters have yet to be revealed, but fans should expect more information about the program in the coming weeks.

CMT Awards 2024 Voting System

The outlet noted that fans will get a chance to vote for the nominees twice. The first set of voting will determine the top six contenders for a certain category.

Only six winners for the first round of voting, which will end on Apr.1, will make it to the second one.

The second round will only have three winners, and the main winner of a specific category will be announced on the exact day of the awards ceremony.
