Kanye West has been taking hit after hit; the rapper's team recently claimed that over 600,000 pieces of Yeezy GAP merchandise were stolen from his L.A. warehouse.

According to TMZ, the clothing thieves snagged amounted to about $1.2 million and was brought to a pop-up somewhere in L.A.

West and his team were initially unaware of where the merchandise ended up until they were notified that a fan-run account was advertising a $20 sale of the rapper's Yeezy GAP collection.

Urban Necessities and SRGN Studios ran the pop-up West's merchandise; they boasted that they got over 60,000 pieces of "unreleased" clothing from the rapper's warehouse.

"This merchandise has been stolen from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West," declared Dov Charney, the current CEO of Yeezy and the founder of American Apparel.

On the other hand, Urban Necessities and SRGN Studio shared a statement regarding the alleged stolen items, claiming their innocence: "We work with brands, consignors, partners, and clients from all over the world.

"We only deal in products that are fully authenticated from vetted sources. The YZY Gap Collection is no different. LAPD has investigated the fraudulent claims and have fully exonerated us from any allegations of misconduct. Thank you to our community of supporters, stay tuned for what's next," they added.

Kanye West's Yeezy GAP Partnership Falls Through

The Yeezy GAP merchandise remained unreleased due to the "Gold Digger" rapper's partnership with the clothing brand falling through.

According to Complex, West was supposed to have a 10-year partnership with GAP. However, their business relationship soured after the former began sharing anti-Semitic rants online.

"I'm a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE," the rapper wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Aside from his collaboration with the iconic clothing brand ending, athletic brand Adidas also cut ties with the rapper and several other brands, such as Balenciaga, JPMorgan Chase, and others.

As per reports, West's net worth went from $2 billion to $400 million in a matter of months.

The rapper also received backlash from netizens, fellow rappers, and other celebrities; however, despite apologizing before, he has continued spewing anti-Semitic remarks here and there.
