According to Dakota Johnson, she will never cross over to become a musician.

She does not think highly of those actors who go that route, and musicians deciding to act next.

Therefore, fans can never expect a Dakota Johnson debut album.

Dakota Johnson Talks Possibility of an Album

The Fifty Shades of Grey actress recently acknowledged to Bustle that she personally has criticized actors who attempt to become musicians and vice versa.

"I don't know if this is a bulls**t belief, but I'm like, I am an actress, I'm a filmmaker, and I will stay in my lane," the Madame Web star explained. "I will never release an album. I will never have an art show. If there's a musician who is like, 'I'm also an actor,' I'm like, 'No, you're not. F**k off (laughs).'"

Dakota then disclosed that Tom Waits, the lead actor in The Outsiders, is the only artist she views as an actor.

"Like, the only musician who is also an actor that I'm like, OK, is Tom Waits," she told the publication. "I'm like, 'Fine, you get to do both.' I'm so judgmental about actors, but if there's a musician who's like, 'I'm having an art show,' that feels OK to me."

This statement is not to be construed as she having anything against musicians.

The actress said in another section of the interview that she is a Swiftie, or fan of Taylor Swift, and that her favorite album of 2019 is Lover.

"It's such a great album, but I think all of her albums are really great," Dakota said. "I just find her existence really radical in the sense of what it literally means. Not rad or cool, but radical, and I'm totally into it."

She added, "She's a fabulous songwriter. She works so hard. She is really kind to the people that love her. I'm just like, do you, girl. I support."

Dakota Johnson, Chris Martin Engaged

Not to mention she's engaged to Chris Martin.

In fact, although Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have kept their relationship mostly quiet, their tale is as endearing as any romantic song.

The Coldplay singer moved on with Johnson less than two years after his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow was finalized in July 2016, as Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in December 2017.

After ten years of marriage, the ex-couples, who have a boy named Moses and a daughter named Apple, announced their "conscious uncoupling" in March 2014.

Martin proposed to her after they had been dating for about seven years, but they kept it private.
