In the past few weeks, Bigi Jackson has launched what could be seen as an antagonistic approach against her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, by filing a complaint to block her from using funds from the Michael Jackson estate.

Some sources have alleged that Bigi was just trying to "protect" his grandmother from other family members.

Bigi Jackson Protecting Katherine From Family Members

Insider sources told The New York Post that Bigi Jackson was just trying to protect his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, from some Jackson family members amid filing a legal move to block her from tapping into funds that his father had left for them.

"Bigi isn't going against his grandmother," the source claimed. "Bigi is really trying to protect his grandmother in the same manner that Michael did, which is to protect her from the Jacksons!"

According to the source, a longtime Jackson family associate, some Jackson relatives get money from the trust through the "soft-hearted" Katherine Jackson.

"Now, instead of letting Mrs. Jackson live out her years in relative peace, you still have certain family members using this elderly woman to get more money - and it's none of their business, as usual."

Bigi filed to block her grandmother Katherine from using the estate's funds to appeal a denied ruling about a $6,000,0000 deal to acquire Michael Jackson's music catalog.

"Through Katie, the estate has made everyone wealthy beyond their wildest dreams," another Jackson insider revealed.

It is also revealed that Katherine is not a beneficiary of Michael Jackson's estate but of a separate trust.

Insiders have also revealed that some Jackson family members are worried that this perceived family in-fighting could jeopardize the years-long effort to reclaim Michael's reputation to keep the cash flowing into the estate.

Bigi Jackson Files Motion to Block Katherine Jackson

According to TMZ, Blanket Jackson's controversial move to block her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, on court came after Katherine insisted on using the estate's money to appeal an unidentified legal battle.

Reportedly, Blanket and Katherine were previously working together on the said legal case, but after losing, Blanket withdrew his support, but his grandmother still wanted to continue. The said case involved a deal made with Sony to sell about half of Michael Jackson's music catalog for $600 million.
