After 28 years, Eminem announced that he's releasing one - at a time when things couldn't be taken seriously.
Eminem Trolled Fans Over Fake 'Infinite 2' Album Announcement
Eminem fans were disappointed after he announced the arrival of his supposed upcoming album, "Infinite 2," the alleged sequel to his 1996 debut album, "Infinite."
In a Tweet on his official Twitter/X account, Eminem shocked everyone when he announced that his new album, "Infinite 2," is "out now." The clip showcases fans' comments urging Eminem to release a still-untitled 2024 album. At the end of the clip, he announces that he's releasing "Infinite 2."
"The highly-anticipated next studio album goes back to where it all started," a narrator said in the now-viral clip. "Infinite but now it's even more infinite. Out today!"

However, the announcement's timing got fans saying that this might be the cruelest April Fools prank ever. Indeed, it was.
"Posting this on April fool's day is the shadiest thing Slim has ever done," one fan said.
"You trolling too hard Marshall... this was just rude," a fan lamented.
"I KNOW this man ain't playing an April fools joke on us. This ain't funny Marshall," another commented.
"I forgot what day it was and I was going crazy searching for it on Spotify YouTube, etc. lol," a fan wrote.
Eminem New Album 2024
True enough, there is a new Eminem album coming in 2024. In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Mar. 19, 2024, Dr. Dre revealed that the iconic rapper is set to release something new in 2024.
"Let me tell you something, let me explain something to you right now: Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year," he disclosed. "And I actually talked to him and he told me it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So he has an album coming out, I've got songs on it and it's fire. I'm actually gonna hear the entire album for the first time for tomorrow."
However, as of this writing, details of the new album are still under wraps, and Eminem has yet to make an announcement or tease something about the new project.
