Twisted Sister officially bid goodbye to their fans after their farewell tour in 2016, but it seems like they're making a big comeback anytime soon, as teased by frontman Dee Snider.

The musician recently appeared in an episode of The Hook Rocks! podcast to update fans about the group. They last got together for a performance after being inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame in 2023.

Initially, Sinder only agreed to perform with his bandmates on special occasions, but he reconsidered his decision if there was big money involved.

"As a result of all the bands retiring and dying, the offers get bigger and bigger for the holdouts to come back... At some point, you've gotta say, 'Well, how can I say no to that?'" he said. (via Blabbermouth)

Speaking about a potential reunion tour, Snider gave fans big hope, saying it's getting close and there have been conversations within the group happening behind the scenes regarding their possible series of concerts.

In addition, they are also talking about the logistics and physical aspects of the concerts if they happen in the future.

"And there's some very general discussion on that, involving personal trainers, diets, hair extensions. And that's the first time in eight years that the conversation has changed," he added.

Twisted Sister's Relationship in the Present

Aside from their potential tour, Dee Snider also gave an update about his relationship with his bandmates, saying they remained amicable and friends throughout the years.

He noted that they talk and still love each other and that one of the good things that came out of reuniting is that they could talk things through and fix their friendships.

Dee Snider Previously Slammed Bands Who Reunite After Farewell Tours

In 2023, Sinder spoke to the Vintage Rock Pod to share his feelings about bands who still reunite after having their farewell tours, saying he "hate s***-talkers."

He added that he prides himself on not being one of those people because when they say that they will retire, it's final, and they won't come back anymore, but people still ask when they're going to reunite.

"Getting up on that stage and doing a full set, having that responsibility? It ain't happening because I'm not a s***-talker like most of the other people," he declared. (via Guitar)
