Hozier is basking on the success of his newest song, "Too Sweet," from his new extended play (EP), Unheard.

The song ascended a spot after it spent a week at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

According to Luminate, Hozier's "Too Sweet" achieves a new peak at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Too Sweet" officially becomes the Irish singer's first No. 1 hit on the genre-blending singles chart. The last time he spent a week on the upper region of the coveted chart was with his Grammy-nominated song "Take Me To Church" in 2013 - only hitting No. 2 at the time, as reported by Billboard.

The song officially became the 1,169th No. 1 hit in Hot 100 history. The publication revealed that it raked in 35.6 million streams in its third week on the chart. Radio airplay impressions boosted with a 136% spike, or 14.1 million, while the track sold 6,000 this week.

Concurrently, the song leads the Streaming Songs Chart, but it dipped to No. 5 on the Digital Song Sales Chart and debuted at No. 42 on the Radio Songs Chart. The song SPENDS a fourth week at the No. 1 spot on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, Hot Rock Songs, and Hot Alternative Songs.

Hozier's last appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 was with "Take Me To Church" in 2014-2015, hitting only No. 2 at the time. Since then, he only appeared again on "Eat Your Young" in 2023 at No. 67 and No. 37 with Noah Kahan on their collaboration, "Northern Attitude."

Hozier Celebrates 'Too Sweet' Success

On social media, Hozier basks on the success of "Too Sweet," celebrating the support of all of his fans and supporters.

"I want to say a huge, huge thank you to all of the supporters, all the fans around the world," he said in a clip shared on X, formerly Twitter. "It's absolutely staggering. I'm taken massively by surprise by it, and I want to say thank you for your support. I'm so thrilled that you're enjoying 'Too Sweet,' and it means the world to me."

"Too Sweet" is the first song on his four-tracked EP, Unheard. It also featured a collaboration with Allison Russell on "Wildflower & Barley," and songs "Empire Now" and "Fare Well."
