Slipknot is entering a new era of their music since they parted ways with their former drummer, Jay Weinberg, as they announced their first show with their new member before they take the stage of a festival in a few days.

According to Loudwire, the metal band's first show for 2024 will be at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on April 27.

This will mark their first-ever performance since they added a new member to the team after Weinberg departed from the group late last year.

Last week, a billboard for the band appeared in the California desert with the link youcantkillme.com. Upon entering the website, the band teased their fans about the upcoming 25th anniversary of their self-titled album, which was released in 1999.

Slipknot New Members' Names Get Revealed?

Following Weinberg and Craig Jones' departure from the band, Slipknot revealed that they already have two new members who will continue the band's legacy at their upcoming shows. However, fans still speculate who these members are as they never revealed their identities.

More recently, eagle-eyed fans noticed hints on the abovementioned website where they possibly named the two new members.

In early reports, the group's website appeared to be a throwback page containing elements from the early 2000s, including photos of the group from 1999.

Some online users took to Reddit to share what they uncovered, and one fan found a hidden video on the website in which the code featured all of the names of the current lineup, seemingly including two new members named Eloy and Jeff.

Many people speculated that the new drummer might be former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande, but they are still clueless regarding the one who replaced Jones.

What Happened to Jay Weinberg?

Jay Weinberg had been a member of Slipknot for many years; that's why fans were surprised when the band announced that they would be parting ways with the musician last year.

In their announcement, they revealed that the group decided to make "a creative decision" to part ways with their former drummer. (via Metal Injection)

Weinberg later addressed the issue on social media, saying that he was heartbroken and blindsided upon receiving the call that he was no longer a member of Slipknot.
