Miley Cyrus has announced she will be making an appearance on Netflix's upcoming My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.

In a preview for the show, Cyrus appears in an interview, divulging one of her previous fears.

"My biggest fear used to be getting fired. And now, how good does that sound? Every time someone's like, 'They might kick you.' 'They don't want you to do this anymore.' I'm like, 'Thank God,'" she said.

Another clip shows Cyrus continuing to take control of her career, saying "I turned it around on him and said, 'You can be in my show.'" It is unknown who the "him" in question is.

She also told Letterman that the pilot for Hannah Montana was originally shot with another actress playing the role of the titular pop star.

"They did shoot a pilot with another girl, and then they showed it to children..." said Cyrus.

"A focus group," interjected Letterman.

"They weren't relating with her," said Cyrus of the childrens' reaction to the other would-be Hannah Montana.

"The little brats," joked Letterman.

"I love them for that," said Cyrus.

What primarily sparked fans' attention was not Cyrus' appearance on the show, but her actual appearance. Namely, Cyrus' hair, which quickly became the center of attention on social media. Cyrus posted a still of herself singing on the set of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction to Instagram -- and the comments went crazy.
