Gayle King wasn't able to stop herself from gushing over Lenny Kravitz during a recent interview. She blatantly said a few words that made the singer giggle.

The 69-year-old journalist interviewed the singer on CBS Mornings when she asked a question about his dating life, saying, "Do you have a significant other in your life?"

The host didn't let Kravitz answer the question yet, but instead, she added, "and can I beat her ass if she is?"

The "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over" hitmaker had nothing to say but to laugh, to which King later clarified that she's "nonviolent."

The conversation returned to the original topic as the host continued, "But do you have a partner? Do you have love in your life?" Kravitz candidly answered the question about his personal life, saying that he's "just open."

Later on, King clarified if the singer was looking for a partner, to which he replied that "it's not hard to look," because for him, when people desire something, they're looking for it, but he believes that when "you don't look is when you find it."

Even though the singer didn't directly reveal whether he's single or not, Lenny Kravitz ended 2023 by going out to dinner with Mexican model Ana Paula Valle. The pair has yet to confirm the true status of their relationship.

The singer was married to Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993. They had an only child named Zoë Kravitz, who also made a name for herself within the entertainment industry.

The recent news comes after Kravitz spoke with People magazine, where he revealed that although he was already divorced from Bonet, he mentioned that love doesn't leave him; instead, it finds a new way to "funnel itself into a new life."

He continued gushing about his ex-wife, saying she was a part of his life that would never leave his heart, soul, and spirit.

In other updates about the singer, Kravitz will launch a few Las Vegas residency shows later this year at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas to support of his new album, Blue Electric Light.

Tickets will be available to the general public starting on Friday, May 24, at 10 p.m. PT via Ticketmaster.
