Although Selena Gomez has a very successful pop music career, the young star also has a great acting career. That said, the 21-year-old has been choosing some more mature roles as of late, and her newest film Getaway definitely falls under that category. Today we have the second trailer for the movie, which also stars Ethan Hawke.
As we could tell from the first trailer and with this newer trailer, we can tell that this film is along the lines of Taken and that genre of kidnapping movie, but the aspect of Hawke's character being an incredible driver makes it a little more interesting. Plus when Gomez's character unintentionally gets wrapped up in the drama of the driver's life it adds a whole new layer to the already stressful story.
As the film progresses, it looks like these two strangers have to come together for the greater good of getting out of the situation alive.

Getaway is the gritty, heart-pounding action thriller from Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle Entertainment in which former race car driver Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Selena Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
