No Doubt hit the stage on Saturday night for the first time in two years, and gave the crowd at the Global Citizen Festival an awesome surprise at the end of their set.

After pumping through 10 songs, Gwen Stefani and co. introduced Sting and The Police frontman proceeded to tear through his signature "Message in a Bottle" bass/vocal parts.

As previous reported: It's been eight years since the world has heard a Gwen Stefani solo record and over two years since No Doubt released new music, but soon it seems like we may have both. In a new interview, upcoming The Voice coach Gwen Stefani announced that she has been hard at work on a new solo album with Pharrell and that new No Doubt music may be coming, too.

"Right now I'm really all about the music. I feel like I've spent the last year really focused on fashion," Stefani said in an interview with MTV News at New York Fashion Week. "I'm really thinking about music a lot."
