New Zealand songstress Lorde announced the title of her next single, "Yellow Flicker Beat," last week, adding that the track would drop tomorrow (Sept. 29). She continued to tease the song on Instagram yesterday (Sept. 27), posting pictures of lyrics for fans to see.

MTV News reports that Lorde originally shared the first line of the song a few weeks ago on a piece of paper that read "I'm a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm" before moving onto additional lines yesterday. The second line - "And the scars that mark my body, they're silver and gold" - was written on the singer's hand, and the third line appeared on a sidewalk, reading "My blood is a flood of rubies, precious stones." The song will be a part of the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which Lorde curated and will be available prior to the movie's Nov. 21 release.

"Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly-anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance," Lorde, who contributed a cover of the Tears for Fears classic "Everbody Wants to Rule the World" to the franchise's second installment, Catching Fire, said in a statement. "The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people."

According to Mockingjay director Francis Lawrence, Lorde was very in tune with the goal of the film. "I sat down with Lorde on the set of Mockingjay this spring and I was immediately struck by how she so innately understood what we, as both fans and filmmakers, were trying to accomplish with the film," Lawrence said in a statement. "Her immense talent and keen understanding of Mockingjay's characters and themes not only have enabled her to create a song of her own that completely captures the film's essence, but her insight and passion for our project make her the perfect creative force to assemble the other songs on our soundtrack. I can't wait to share what she's done with the fans -- it is truly remarkable."
