Jaden Smith is continuing his adventure into diving into the world of music with the release of a new music video. Today (Oct. 22), the celebrity son/sometimes actor/singer released the official music video for his Justin Timberlake sampling track "Blue Ocean" and it features one of his many famous friends: Kylie Jenner.
The music video, like the song itself, seems like a blurry, jumpy look into Smith's contemplative, youthful and slightly sad mindset.
Just as disorienting as the track itself, the music video for "Blue Ocean" features a non-linear narrative about a relationship, with Jenner playing as Smith's main squeeze. The two can be seen hugging, playing soccer, hanging out at North West's Kidchella first birthday party and hanging out with another friend on the street.
When Smith isn't out with Kylie Jenner, he's thinking deep, hard thoughts by himself, seemingly reflecting on what once was.
Smith looks out, contemplative over a pier. And then again, there he is in deep thought on a swing set. There are also indiscernible symbols and phrases and glitches, reflecting the jumpy sample in the song.
It must be weird to be Jaden Smith...
